Lumpia Semarang



Ingredients:

1. 3 carrots (thinly sliced like match sticks)

2. 1 pack bamboo shoot (thinly sliced)

3. 3 eggs (scrambled and chopped)

4. 3 green onions (thinly sliced)

5. 1 lb ground chicken

6. 1 onion (chopped)

7. 3 cloves garlic (chopped)

8. 1 tablespoon soy sauce

9. 1 tablespoon oyster sauce

10. Black pepper and salt to taste

11. 1 pack spring roll wrapper

12. Chili sauce

13. Enough oil for frying

Preparation:

  1. Stir fry onion until translucent then add garlic.
  2. Add chicken, soy sauce, oyster sauce, salt and pepper.
  3. Cook until chicken is cooked.
  4. Add the vegetables and cooked for about 5 min, then add scrambled eggs
  5. Cool the filling
  6. Put one tablespoon onto a wrapper, wrap, then deep fry
  7. Serve with chili sauce

Cassava Cake

Ingredients:

  1. 2 cups grated cassava
  2. 1 egg
  3. 2 table spoon melted butter
  4. 1 cup coconut milk
  5. 1-1/2 cup of sugar

Preparation:

  1. Mix cassava, egg, butter, sugar and coconut milk in a pot
  2. Cooked under medium heat until it is thick and translucent
  3. Transfer into a glass baking dish (9x9)
  4. Prepare topping: cook 1.5 cups brown sugar and 1.5 cups coconut milk until it is thickened
  5. Spread the topping over the cake
  6. Bake at 350oF for 20 min
